Thursday, May 13th, 2010

During the course of acquiring an MBA in Energy Finance and Risk Management, David Hanegraaf, a key member of the WTEC team, recently placed first in two separate International MBA Case Competitions. Both the Toronto Rotman 2010 Net Impact CSR Case Competition and the 2010 HEC Montreal Sustainability Challenge were focused on Corporate Social Responsibility issues faced by real energy companies (Talisman Energy and Imperial Oil respectively). The competitions featured over 30 MBA teams from across Canada and the US. We are proud of David’s accomplishments, particularly given the Corporate Social Responsibility focus of these competitions, as sustainable development is truly what WTEC is all about.
