Alistair Haughton – Chief Operating Officer

Alistair has spent the last 26 years honing his skill sets in a number of management positions including the military, government, NGO and international industrial, processing and marketing. Alistair’s experience includes successful postings as Strategic Business Manager, COO and Canadian Managing Director of the Norwegian multi-national Cermaq Group. He is an ardent believer in team building, growth and above all, long term partnerships.

Alistair is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys skiing and fly-fishing. Alistair lives in the Comox Valley with his wife Kjeryn, daughters Kelsey and Ciera, and son Shea.

David Hanegraaf – Chief Financial Officer

David has 8 years of working experience in energy and infrastructure finance & development and extensive experience structuring and financing renewable energy projects at the international level. David considers his skills in corporate risk analysis and financial risk optimization as a key strength he brings to WtEC and its clients. Prior to 2006, David was employed as Operations Manager for a publically traded multinational seafood company in a tenure that included 2 years in charge of Operations in Southern Chile. In 2010, David graduated Bourses d’excellence (top 20) of his MBA class at HEC Montreal, voted in 2009 by Forbes Magazine as one of the top ten non-US MBA programs in the world.

Rod Taylor – Chief Executive Officer

Rod is the President and Owner of Uncommon Journeys Ltd., one of the Yukon’s most well respected adventure travel companies. He was a Director of Northern Vision Development, one of the Yukon’s largest commercial and industrial real estate developers. Prior to arriving in the Yukon Rod was the Vice-President, Operations of the Lifestyle Communities Group, one of the largest private long-term, health care companies in Canada. Rod graduated Magna cum Laude from Concordia University.

He currently lives on a small ranch just outside of Whitehorse with his wife Martha, and his young daughter Hayley.

Stephen Cochrane- Vice President – Project Management

Rocky Pouliot – Automation & Controls, Systems Integration and Electrical Division Manager
Rocky’s 35 years in the electrical trade as a residential, commercial, industrial electrician include being lead Programmer for Process Control, SCADA, PLC, Operator interface, Telemetry and Gasification system. He also has 15 years experience at an Underwriter Laboratory and CSA certified industrial control manufacturer.
